A Good Deal For $5

Today I learned that the proceeds from the the Rewind Thrift Store in Central, SC go to help kids at the local high school and middle school get computers and tutoring, etc. Good deal! Children's clothes were 50 cents each so I got busy looking. After I found a handful of items, the lady at the desk told me I could fill a bag with any clothing including kids, women's and men's for just $5 total! I filled the bag half full, and she encouraged me to keep shopping! I ended up finding 5 outfits for Shastya, some bibs, six blouses for me, and one long-sleeved shirt for Anthony! Amazing.

Shari's Awesome Chicken Marsala Over Spaetzle

Shari's Chicken Marsala

5 Chicken Drumsticks

1/2 Cup Water

1/4 Cup Sherry Vinegar

1/4 Cup Lemon Thyme Olive Oil

1 Brown Gravy Dry Mix Packet

1 Small Can of Mushrooms With Liquid

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken in glass baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients in medium size mixing bowl. Pour sauce over chicken. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour or until done.

Shari's Spaetzle

1 TB Olive Oil

1 Tsp. Salt

Water

1 lb. Spaetzle

1 Cup Alfredo Sauce

Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain. Stir sauce into hot pasta.
