Shastya Baby Foodie: Carrot Puree
Perhaps my baby eats more gourmet than me! Today she had carrot puree for lunch. I had to remind myself to save the carrot puree for baby Shastya after I sampled some to make sure it was good. I had boiled four chopped carrots on the stove. I then pureed the cooked carrots in a blender with 1/4 cup of water and a couple dashes of ginger. I think I could've eaten the whole container. I'll have to make carrot puree some time for Anthony and I with a fancy dinner.

Shastya Baby Foodie: Baby Banana Nutmeg Cereal
Baby Shastya loves spices. Daddy started her on them awhile back. He put cinnamon in her cereal. That's how we got her to eat cereal. I don't think babies are supposed to have too much spice, so we are careful. My original recipe for Baby Banana Nutmeg Cereal was a real baby appeaser when it came to feeding baby Shastya. She ate every tiny bite I could scrape out of the jar!
Banana Nutmeg Cereal:
1/4 Piece of Banana Mashed
1/2 TB Powdered Baby Formula
1 oz. Warm Water
1 TB Rice Crispies (offbrand)
2 Dashes of Nutmeg

Shastya Baby Foodie: Baby Green Bean Casserole
Baby Shastya just "loves her" some baby green bean casserole. A "home" specialty indeed. It is really quite easy to make. I just mashed some leftover whole green beans, added powdered baby formula, warm water, and off-brand cornflakes.
